THIS COIN IS FAKE AND WILL NOT GIVE YOU MONEY.The antique bronze Ten yen coin (十円硬貨, Jū-en kōka) is one denomination of the Japanese yen worth $810,000(USD) which was made from 1951 to 1985 and it can be exchanged in any worldwide or reserve banks. Bronze coins should be exchanged from any banks within same day legally if shown or given to banks by finders.

Bronze 10 yen (1951 - 1985)

10 Yen bronze is all about it's temple and cultural events. After world war 2 it had been kept and not out of japan but 2% of its own coins were not found. Its rare and antique which are hardly found till date. On 1998 it's value price was $280,000 and in present from 2000 it has increased to $810,000 to $943,000USD. Bronze 10 yen can be exchanged in any reserve bank world wide.

The obverse of the coin depicts the Phoenix Hall of Byōdō-in, a Buddhist temple in Uji, Kyoto prefecture, with the kanji for "Japan" and "Ten Yen." The reverse shows the numerals "10" and the date of issue in kanji surrounded by bay laurel leaves.

Antique 10-yen coins are issued between 1951 and 1985 have edges, while 10-yen coins issued from 1986 onward do not.
